Signe Andreasen Lysgaard is Chief Advisor on Business and Human Rights at the Danish Institute for Human Rights, Denmark's National Human Rights Institution.

Mrs. Lysgaard is a Political Scientist by training and has 15 years of experience advising companies, financial institutions, governments and civil society organisations across sectors and geographies on corporate respect for human rights. 

Today, she leads the Institute's work on human rights in the context of the financial sector and where her work spans across policy and standard setting engagements, project level collaborations and research activities.

Mrs. Lysgaard served as an expert advisor on the EU Platform on Sustainable Finance (20-22) particularly around questions related to taxonomy minimum safeguards and a social taxonomy. She also serves as an expert adviser to the PRI Human Rights Technical Expert Group, the OECD Advisory Group on Responsible Business Conduct for the Financial Sector as well as the Dutch Banking Sector Responsible Business Conduct High Level Expert Pool.
