Pierre-Henri Damotte is currently Head of Accounting Public Affairs at Société Générale and was previously leading the Group Accounting Policies since 1998. In these roles, he is actively involved in the contribution of the bank to accounting as well as to sustainability reporting debates.
He is member of the Accounting Committee of the French Banking Federation. He is also involved with the French Accounting Standard setter (ANC), acting for more than 15 years as member or chairman of several working groups dealing with financial instruments, consolidation and presentation of financial statements for both answering to IFRS consultations and issuing new French accounting standards.
Since 2019, he has contributed to the implementation of the European Single Electronic Format in Société Générale, as well as to related working groups in France.
He is also member of the EFRAG's Financial Instruments Working Group since 2009.
