EFRAG welcomes two new members in its Financial Reporting Board

EFRAG welcomes two new members in its Financial Reporting Board. For Sweden, Fredrik Walmeus is replacing Anders Ullberg who has taken up his new role as EFRAG Administrative Board member and for France, Marie Seiller is replacing Patrick de Cambourg who was appointed as EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Board member.

EFRAG is close to finalising the integration of the Sustainability reporting pillar into the EFRAG structure with the earlier appointment of the EFRAG Administrative Board and recent appointment of the EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Board members.  Some (deputy) members of the EFRAG Financial Reporting Board stepped down from the EFRAG Financial Board since they joined these new bodies.

For Sweden, Fredrik Walmeus is replacing Anders Ullberg who has taken up his new role as EFRAG Administrative Board member and for France, Marie Seiller is replacing Patrick de Cambourg who was appointed as EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Board member. Both were appointed for the remaining term till 30 April 2024. The replacement of the EFRAG Financial Reporting Board deputy member, Elina Peill, for the accountancy profession is in process.

Jean-Paul Gauzes, EFRAG Board President said:

I am very pleased to welcome Marie Seiller for France and Fredrik Walmeus for Sweden to the EFRAG Financial Reporting Board. They will bring valuable contributions to the discussions from their wide expertise, knowledge and experience in financial reporting.  I thank Anders, Patrick and Elina for their contributions to the EFRAG Financial Reporting Board and the value they will bring in the new Boards - for Anders and Elina the EFRAG Administrative Board and for Patrick the EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Board – in this transition year that is full of challenges and opportunities ”.
