EFRAG releases its Annual Review 2021

​EFRAG publishes today its Annual Review 2021 that highlights the main achievements of the organisation in the past year and the important developments that took place in the first half of 2022, such as the governance reform and the confirmation of EFRAG's role as the technical advisor to the EC providing technical advice in the form of draft European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) in addition to the financial reporting developments.Take a look at the report here.

EFRAG is pleased to present its key developments for 2021 and the first half of 2022 as follows:

  • EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Activities, including the standard-setting activities and the governance reform
  • EFRAG Financial Reporting Activities, including research activities and our flagship project  Better Information on Intangibles, our contributions to improve IFRS standards and endorsement advice projects, particularly on IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts
  • Governance and Transparency, welcoming 14 new EFRAG Member Organisations

Jean-Paul Gauzès, former EFRAG Board President for who it was the last report, stated: "I would like to express our thanks and appreciation to all those who have volunteered their services to the Project Task Force - European Sustainability Reporting Standards and its temporary secretariat. They have shown an unwavering and exemplary commitment to the success of the European initiative under difficult working conditions."
