AFRAC, EFRAG & WU VIENNA Joint Outreach Event on EFRAG Exposure Drafts on Draft ESRS
On 29 April 2022, EFRAG launched a public consultation on the Exposure Drafts (EDs) on the first set of Draft European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). The public consultation will examine the following sections:
- the relevance of the proposed architecture, the implementation of the CSRD principles and the overall content of each ED;
- the possible options for prioritisation/phasing-in the implementation of the ESRS; and
- the adequacy of each disclosure requirement mandated by each ED.
In this context, AFRAC, EFRAG & the Institute for Accounting & Auditing at the WU Vienna are organising a joint information event and invite all interested stakeholders to participate. Panellists will provide their views on the proposed disclosure requirements and will further comment from their perspective on the EDs of Draft ESRS during four panel discussions on:
- Political and legal framework of the ESRS
- Architecture and overarching standards
- Environmental standards
- Social and corporate governance standards
The audience will be able to interact, raise questions and answer polling questions that will be commented by the speakers. This event will be in German.
