17/01/2024 - EFRAG ANNOUNCES NEW COMPOSITION OF ITS ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD AND APPOINTMENT OF NEW EFRAG FRB AND SRB MEMBERS

In its 11 December 2023 meeting, the EFRAG General Assembly approved the new composition of the EFRAG Administrative Board. In place since January 2022 as a result of the Gauzes governance reform. The EFRAG Administrative Board is responsible for EFRAG's organisation, administration, finance and due process encompassing both the Financial reporting and Sustainability reporting pillars. It is not involved in technical activities or positions.

Helmut Maukner was welcomed as the new representative for Austria, replacing Andrea Sternisko. All other EFRAG Administrative Board members were (re)appointed for a two-year term effective from 22 January 2024.

The new composition of the EFRAG Administrative Board is as follows:

 EFRAG is pleased to announce that new members have joined its governance bodies:

• Martin Thygesen: appointed as EFRAG FRB member (Danish Funding Mechanism, Denmark) by the EFRAG General Assembly on 11 December 2023.
• Alexander Bassen: appointed as EFRAG SRB member (EFFAS and Eurosif, user sector) by the EFRAG General Assembly on 11 December 2023.
  

EFRAG thanks for their valuable contributions the members who stepped down: Andrea Sternisko (EFRAG Administrative Board, Austria), Soren Kok Olsen (EFRAG FRB, Denmark) and Aleksandra Palinska (EFRAG SRB, user sector).
