13/03/2023 - The EFRAG SRB appoints Sigurt Vitols as EFRAG SR TEG Vice-Chair and Christoph Töpfer as EFRAG SR TEG member

​The EFRAG SRB appoints Sigurt Vitols as EFRAG Sustainability Reporting (SR) TEG Vice-Chair, confirming the role he had already as Acting Vice-Chair of the EFRAG SR TEG since June 2022.

The EFRAG SRB also appoints Christoph Töpfer as EFRAG SR TEG member. Christoph, policy and research officer at the German Environment Agency (UBA), has been involved in EFRAG's sustainability reporting work for long, as he was a member of the Project Task Force on European Sustainability Reporting Standards (PTF-ESRS).

EFRAG also announces that Laurène Chenevat, who was EFRAG SR TEG member since April 2022, quits her role.

Chiara Del Prete, EFRAG SR TEG Chairwoman, stated: "I am very pleased to continue working with Sigurt by my side on the tasks of the EFRAG SR TEG. We have a lot to accomplish ahead of us, and with Christoph also joining and bringing to the SR TEG his valuable knowledge and experience, I am confident that we will continue succeeding in delivering high quality work on the draft ESRS. I also want to thank Laurène for her great contribution and wish her the best for the future steps in her career."
