Cedric Tonnerre

Cédric is a partner in the Group IFRS Technical Department of Mazars, in charge of coordinating the global IFRS Committee and liaising with the Insurance Department. He is a member of the insurance working groups of the French Standard Setter and of the French National Association of Auditors (CNCC).
Previously, Cédric spent 5 years as IFRS technical director at the ANC (Autorité des Normes Comptables, the French National Standard Setter) in charge of contributing to the endorsement and implementation of IFRS in France and managing the working groups (including the insurance working group) in liaison with the ANC’s IFRS Committee and Board. He was a member of the Technical Expert Group (TEG) and the Insurance Accounting Working Group (IAWG) of EFRAG. He also participated in the Accounting Standards Advisory Forum (ASAF) with the IASB and in the International Forum of Accounting Standard setters (IFASS).
Prior to that and for four years, Cédric was an inspector at H3C, the French oversight board and regulator of audit firms. Before that, he worked for fourteen years with KPMG in Germany and in France, where he managed audit engagements for various listed international clients.
Cédric is a licensed French CPA (Commissaire aux comptes and Expert comptable) and has passed the American CPA (Washington). He graduated from the Dauphine University (Maîtrise de Sciences de Gestion) in Paris and the University of Frankfurt (BWL, Betriebswirtschaftslehre) in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) in 1996.
