EFRAG offers internship opportunities in its financial reporting and sustainability reporting activities, with the possibility to also work on EFRAG’s research project on the connectivity between financial and sustainability reporting information. This opportunity is for a six-month (minimum period) internship with a renewable possibility and is based in EFRAG’s offices in Brussels.

​EFRAG is offering internships in its financial reporting and sustainability reporting activities. As an intern, you will be expected to either:

• Support the EFRAG financial reporting work in influencing the development of IFRS Accounting Standards (including projects on the IASB workplan and EFRAG’s proactive research projects) and providing endorsement advice on IFRS Accounting Standards. There is also an opportunity to work on EFRAG’s research project on the connectivity between financial and sustainability reporting; or
• Support the EFRAG sustainability reporting work in developing draft European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). 

The internship role entails giving support to the work conducted by the EFRAG technical staff in drafting technical documents, regular engagement with EFRAG's governance bodies (EFRAG Reporting Technical Expert Groups and Reporting Boards), working groups and outreach to a broad range of external stakeholders including preparers, users, national standard setters, auditors, regulators.

Through the internship, you will gain a unique professional experience in corporate reporting standard-setting in a dynamic and multicultural environment and have access to and direct interaction with a rich network of corporate reporting stakeholders.

Eligibility: For an internship in financial reporting, you must have a university degree or be in the final year of your Masters in accounting including having taken advanced courses on IFRS-related topics.

For an internship in sustainability reporting, you must have a university degree or be in the final year of your Masters in sustainability or the following related subjects: accounting, business, finance, economics, law and any other relevant discipline for the sustainability-related topics.

In addition, you should have an EEA nationality and be willing to relocate to Brussels during the internship.
