EFRAG is calling for candidates with an accountancy profession background with an EEA nationality other than France, Germany, Italy and Spain for its Technical Expert Group (EFRAG TEG) for the 2021 rotation.
EFRAG has announced the new composition of its Technical Expert Group (EFRAG TEG) on 5 January, effective from 1 April 2021. Although EFRAG received several candidates with an accountancy profession background that met the qualifications for EFRAG TEG membership, due to its geographical balance criterion, none of them could be appointed.
EFRAG has therefore decided to issue a new, focused call for candidates with an accountancy profession background from countries other than France, Germany, Italy and Spain. EFRAG strives for geographical and gender balance in the composition of EFRAG TEG.
Applications, setting out the name and CV of the proposed candidate, should be sent to EFRAG by latest 28 February 2021. The full text of the call for EFRAG TEG applicants provides all the relevant details on how to apply.
Interviews are scheduled to take place in the first half of March in the form of webcast meetings.
